I love to read my horoscope daily, especially Dear's horoscopes! Does one really think that they can foretell the future? Is it in fact the work of the devil?
Nah, not for me. Really I think that horoscopes provide motivation in life to take advantage of opportunities or to think about your daily choices.
For example, recently I read one that said..
"Your compassion and good will towards a loved one could get you into a spot of trouble right now if you over-extend your budget. There is a chance for you to do some good, and that's a good thing. Just try not to be too quick to throw money at the problem."
So that entire day I was very careful with my money. Miscellaneous opportunities came up for me to spend my cash, and I found other ways to solve problems without spending. But should I not be watching what I spend every day? Sure, I should! Is there something wrong with the fact that it took me believing in my horoscope to make me do that? I don't think so.
Another example is that I also read one recently that said something along the lines of "You can get a lot of paperwork off your desk today if you stay focused." That is exactly what I needed to hear that day to get me motivated to crank out some work. But of course, this is true all the time, isn't it?
So do you read your horoscope?

I usually read my horoscope on my Yahoo page. I don't believe they predict the future or anything, I look at them as more of a thought provoking statement most days.

No, I never read my horoscope. But it sounds like it's done some good for you!

2I used to read Yahoo! horoscopes before I became a Sugar! I love their blurbs on relationships with other signs! I've found that ours (Taurus-Taurus) is VERY MUCH on point!
3You know, I've never read the Dear ones. Mine is kinda funny today...
ARIES: March 21st - April 19th
You have a strong need to avoid your work right now. (so what's new about that? lol) You want to play and party, but you have someone who is playing the role of "traffic cop" in your life. This is likely an older loved one or relative who is reminding you of your responsibilities.

Haha! Now I'm thinking about when your boss accused his wife of drinking on the job!
For some reason, I like Dear's horoscopes the most. But now I've gone and read my Yahoo one as well! And my compatibility with my kids!
I totally believe in astrological signs though, if not horoscopes.
I am 100% Taurus through and through!
And my daughter is sooooo very much a Leo!
Plus I happened to know that Aries and Taurus make great friends and business partners!
5LOL! They were fighting about that again yesterday! Just go to AA already.

Big MAMA Leo here. I go in spells and sometimes will read my horoscope every day. Then, go for awhile and don't care anything about it. I am fascinated by some of that stuff for sure. But, I'm with you--alot of it is just common sense.
7i only read the Dear ones too. i just read em for fun, mine are hardly ever true though
8I am a constant Horoscope reader. I read the Dear ones, I have 2 separate horoscopes emailed to me and I carry a book with my horoscope in my purse. I know I am a bit of a freak, I can't help myself
